Bringing home a puppy is an exciting experience—but it can also feel overwhelming. New routines, new behaviors, and constant questions about whether you are “doing it right” can make even the most prepared person feel unsure.

We will support both you and your puppy, helping you build a connection and guide everyday skills in a way that works for you and your puppy. Puppy coaching and training is designed to meet your goals and your puppy’s needs.

Where do coaching and training sessions take place?

Coaching and training take place in your home where your puppy will learn best. Depending on your goals, we may also meet in other environments, as needed.

Puppy training can include:

Socialization
Socialization is about carefully introducing your puppy to new people, environments, and experiences in a way that feels safe and positive. The goal is to help your puppy build confidence and feel more comfortable navigating the world and feeling safe within it.

Foundational Life Skills
These are the everyday life skills that support your life together, like settling, walking on leash, coming when called, focusing around distractions, learning to accept body handling, and many more. These skills create structure and predictability for both you and your puppy.

Problem-Solving Behaviors
Puppies are constantly learning as they explore the world around them. We’ll help navigate behaviors like biting, jumping, or chewing - helping your puppy learn in a supportive, positive way.

We can also support you before bringing your puppy home. Preparation is the key to feeling less overwhelm and more confidence!

Pre-puppy support may include:

Choosing a breed or individual dog that fits your lifestyle
Setting up your home environment for success
Preparing for the first few days and nights
Planning early socialization and exposure experiences
Understanding common puppy behaviors and what to expect
